END OF WEEK TWO FILMING:

YOU all must have the following on your blogs, 

based on todays lesson and discussions in the mac studio.

Print out your Contact sheet and make decisions. Select images.

Select images and say if it may be used for poster, CD packaging etc

If you decide not to use cross off and say why you decided against using it.

Make sure you have written to the record label asking for permission to use song for your studies..brief outline to them of what you are using it for.
John, Liam and Jacob actually tweeted and tagged the record company who then 'favourited' them. 

Decide who is doing what for the video. Editing. 

Start to decide on titles and credits.
Pop in iMovie or Movie Maker, Sony Vegas or Adobe Premier all of your video clips and they can be shifted around as and when.
You already know where clips go in sequence

Remember to show all of the work you have created and then be selective on what is  important
and shows your development.

• Notes on all GROUP & INDIVIDUAL activities - who does what and when.

• Analysis of all of these things - Individual and group blog posts please

• Your work is constantly developing and you need to write up exactly what is happening.

Now we have all completed some high end creative work in photoshop we now need to apply this appropriately to out blogs. We need to :

have an annotated tutorial with screenshots

voice your opinion on how successful your work was.

investigate existing CD covers and voice an opinion on these.

develop your work for each task into a mock up of a CD

compare and contrast this to the examples you looked at

compare and contrast your own talking in terms which was more successful.

try to use media terms, consider how the work might engage / attract an audience, does it follow the typical codes and conventions of an album cover for this genre of music : or does it challange the audience expectations?

These workshops will provide you with the high end skills needed to develop your own successful video/ CD covers/ tour posters/ graphic images for your video.

You may borrow cameras to shoot scenes over the weekend. 

 

 

 

Welcome back from Half Term.

Today you MUST have : 

• the lyrics to the chosen song printed out 

• visual ideas and concepts for your video in the form of a mood board

• evidence of genre, style, scenario for video concept for chosen song 

• You will extend and develop all of the above ensuring each team member has a key role to play. 

• You will begin to draw up a storyboard of scenes, locations for your video shoot. Storyboard blanks attached. Describe scenes and shots to gather. 

• REMEMBER: day shoots, evening shoots, shot styles, pans, camera angles etc

• your team song and artist agreed
